Government HABE institution has recorded a video about our practice
of teaching English in Infant.

| Arion: A visit of teachers from Europe | May 6-10, 2002 |
|
A group of teachers and inspectors from different countries of Europe have made a visit to our school. A group
of twelve principals and inspectors have visited the Basque
Country during this month in the program Arion-Socrates. The
aim consisted in visiting more than 200 schools to see some
aspects of teaching English to children 4 year olds, in both
public and private schools. Teachers from Belgium, Holland,
Austria, Italy, Poland and Germany have visited those schools
to observe how the children get involved learning English in
a communicative approach. With that information they must make
a report to present in Brussels evaluating the system of teaching
and learning English in the Basque Country. The group has made
a very good evaluation of teaching English so early and they
have been impressed with the fact that we have three models
in our education system. |
